Congratulation to JT, Jeff & family...After visiting numerous insitutions through out the state, Lynchburg became my #1 choice. I loved the school setting and Coach Abell was sincere in his goals for Lynchburg and my son. Good luck and hope to see you during the up and coming season.

What is the best way to get noticed by C oach Abell? My son, just this evening, sent him a letter of intro and player profile. It is noted that there are no players from NJ on the roster.

Certainly, that is the right start. I would advise following up with a phone call, at some point. Remember, as a D-III, their recruiting budget is limited, so they don't make it out of the VA area, too much.

Son also registered for Best In Virginia. I assume from posters that Coach Abell will be there. How is your son finding the academics. Lynchburg is featured in a book entitled 40 Colleges that Change lives. Very impressive.

He just committed, so he's just a SR in HS. I would make sure, in a letter closer to the camp, that your son will be there.
