She is being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in a new Reality to Dreams section as the first female D1 baseball player.
She’s a junior. She’s made two appearances in games in two seasons. She’s hasn’t appeared in Brown’s first twenty-two games this season.

Good for her. Someone had to pave the way. A woman has already been drafted in the MLB, however, so this may be her pinnacle.
I bet the softball team wishes she were in their lineup, though. And she would probably play more.

Yes. Ron Schueler, a former MLB pitcher was the GM. He drafted his daughter in the 43rd round. This kind of stuff happens all the time. It’s just usually boys. Rueben Amaro Jr selected his nephew in the last round of the draft after his senior year of college. The most famous charity draft pick was Mike Piazza. Tommy Lasorda was boyhood buddies with his father.
