Knowing that our own fenwaysouth is way too modest to initiate this thread, I wanted to pass along congratulations to his son, Connor Kaufmann, who has been named to Perfect Game's Pre-Season All-Ivy team. Connor is entering his Junior season at Cornell.

It's also worth noting that the Big Red is Perfect Game's pick to repeat as Ivy League champion and NCAA Regional Tournament participant.

As a sophomore last season, Connor was named to the Ivy League's First Team after having been named Pitcher-of-the-Week three times.

Thanks everyone, and I owe you one Prepster.  If Connor knew this was on a message board he would turn red like his jersey.  He likes to remain in the shadows.  His season doesn't start until March 1, and his team knows it is going to be a dogfight with a bunch of teams within the division and league this year....but that is why they play the games.

Imagine how this young man's first job interview is going to go.  The employer goes through all the hoops and gives his speal.  Then, he basically asks, "What can you do for us"  The young man replies, "I've learned to multi-task effectively and produce at a high level under pressure."  "I took the hardest degree offered in college and also taken at one of the most prestigious academic institutions in th country.  Moreover, I was an All-Conference D1 athlete which basically was a second full-time job in addition to my engineering studies."
