Thought the citizens of the Great State of TX would like to know that Ray Crone Sr received this prestigious recognition, "Scout of the Year".

As you know Shep, Ray signed me out of HS back in 81. I thought he was old then!!! He is a great man whom I admire very much. He still lives in Waxahachie and his son, Ray, Jr., who I played with in the minor leagues, is also a scout for a MLB team.

Thank you for the post....brings back some great memories!
