I thought that was really cool so I called Ryan this morning to congratulate him and then try to explain how genetics fit into the make-up of offspring.

Needless to say he didn't buy into my way of thinking. He went on to say that while the individual recognition is nice, the team recognition was more deserving, but the bottom line is it not where you start but where you finish. It sounded so cliche, but knowing Ryan it was an honest and sincere thought. That is why he is proclaimed the only adult male in the family which is a win for me in my book.
