What is the state of Connie Mack league baseball these days? There doesn’t seem to be many teams around.
You use to have top level talent and teams across the country. I suppose early enrollment and PG are factors.

Here in CA it still has a presence. There are some pretty good teams and decent talent. From what I have seen, most players are guys who already know that they are headed to Jucos. But there are some teams that have a lot more players who are heading to 4 year schools, at all levels, but whose families don't see the point of running all over the country doing PG and other travel events when they are already committed. That said, some of the better teams do travel to non-Connie Mack events, and also there are state CN tournaments as well as a big national tournament in NM that is supposed to be a really great event.
Where we lived CM from 13u to 16u was similar to community travel ball. But the upper ages Connie Mack WS is still a big deal scouts show up to watch.
Midland Redskins go to the CM WS every year. Pretty much all D1 guys a lot from major programs on their roster year in and year out. They also do some PG events if you wanna look up their rosters to get an idea of skill level.
