The Yankees finished 1-3 in pool play and obviously won't advance. The Frozen Ropes finished pool play at 3-1 and are tied with another 3-1 team in their pool. The FR have a 4 run advantage in runs allowed but I'm not sure if that's the tiebreaker or if head to head matters. The other team won their head to head match-up 7-1. Hopefully Texas can get 2 of their 3 teams into bracket play.

The site has the Max Bats/Nationals score incorrect. Max Bats won 4-3 to force a three way tie between FR, Rhode Island and Max Bats. FR allowed 9 runs total and the other two teams allowed 13 but they used AABC rule 212 to determine that only runs allowed in the games among those three teams are counted. Max Bats wins pool on this tiebreaker and advances.

The Dallas Patriots lost to the FL Legends 6-0 in their semifinal matchup and have been eliminated. This is the 2nd CM qualifier that the Patriots have made it to the semis (Phoenix, AZ a couple of weeks ago) and not been able to punch their ticket to Farmington. Like other teams around here they've got one more chance in the South Plains qualifier in a couple of weeks here in the DFW area.
In order to make the CMWS (8 teams) you have to win one of the regional qualifiers around the country or play for the host team. In order to play in the South Plains regional qualifier here in DFW you have to play in a AABC league and then win a designated qualifying tourney to be eligible for the South Plains regional. The Patriots have already won a tourney gaining them entry into the South Plains regional. The next opportunity to qualify for this regional is by winning the Connie Mack Texas State tourney the week of July 18th. The South Plains qualifier is the following week.

There are actually 10 teams in the CMWS. Two national qualifiers and 8 regional winners.
Doubleday,

I want to commend you for the updates that you send out weather your teams win or lose. I respect that about you.

This sets up one of the most competitive CMSPR in recent memory. This double elim tournament will be a must see in a couple of weeks. Along with the Dallas area teams and a few out of staters, this will be one of the most entertaining regionals in a long time.

See everyone in a few weeks,

There are teams willing to travel the country and spend their last dollar to get a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

The Florida Legends and S. Troy have been to the greatest show on earth.

Gut's on point....once you've been, you will exhaust every avenue to get back. My current avenue has us getting there in 2019. Wink

Florida Legends punched their ticket this morning going 9-0 for the tourney.
