For some of the parents with younger kids; what does the recent contact day reference to. I thought the signing time was sometime around the second week of November. What significance does the "contact date" have? When is it? What is it for? etc..

Savannah - July 1 after a player's junior year is the first day a college coach can personally contact (call) a player. They can then call once every week (with exception of dead period in September I believe).

This is for NCAA DI and DII. NAIA, JUCO and DIII do not have to follow this timeline.
