My HS senior son has committed to a D3 school for next year. Should he try to stay in touch with HC or RC during his senior year. I know that college season is in full swing and do not want son to come across as bothersome to coaching staff. Thanks.

Have him just ask the D3 how they handle things.I'm sure they know YOUR son is real busy this time of year also.Where mu guy is commited thay have 3 coaches who take turnes contacting @ once a week or so.just to check in.Thats been going on since commiting.
My son's college RC and HC called him a couple times a month thru the winter.....but since they've been back to school in January he hasn't heard from them. I assume it's because they are busy with the start of the season....and being a northern school, every Thurs-Sun for the past 4 weekends has been a long distance roadtrip. I would guess once the league schedules starts and they can play some games at home that they will have more free time.
