We plan on attending a game (D-I) between two schools that both have an interest in our son...who is an '06. If I'm correct, I think that he can talk to the "home team" seeing that the game is on their grounds. But is he permitted to speak with the coach from the visiting school? If someone could clarify this I would appreciate it. Thank you!

You are correct. The visiting coach can't technically do more than acknowledge you with a hello. What son would do is contact both coaches to let them know he would be their game and ask if there would be an opportunity to meet before or after the game. This lets them know you are there and interested in their program. But, in reality, game day is usually not a good time to do much more than go down to the dugout area, shake hands and do a "hi, how are you?". And don't be surprised when you are not the only prospect there with a hand out!Smile
