contacting a coach

Can parents contact a DII coach who has seen your child, overnight visit, told him he would have a spot on team but nothing signed? Had some questions about money but we do not want to overstep the boundaries. Wondering if there if there are other monies available besides scholarship. Coach is personally handling application - is that a good sign?

baseballmom246, call him and ask your questions. The rules limit coaches and recruiters, not parents.

They know the rules, usually, and if you call at a bad time, they'll tell you.
