My son Bill played in the Blue-Grey Classic last weekend at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC. I took this photo of him hitting a triple that one hopped the center field wall at the 390 sign. Check out the flex in the bat, I have never seen a metal bat flex this much.

What did you take that with? Lens? Exposure settings?

I've taken a lot of shots of hitters at contact point and have not seen this effect.


Photo was taken with a Canon 1D Mark II N with a 300MM lens at ISO 500, 3.5 Aperture, shutter 1/2500,
