This may have already been discussed on the board, but with the current reversal in the stats concerning HR'S @ Coors from previous years I thought it might be a good topic for discussion.

My feeling as an old BB dinosaur; I think the whole concept of a "baseball humidor" is ridiculous. Works great for cigars but this application ??????

By the way, instead of picking balls at random this year they are pulling the balls that have been in the humidor the longest.

Cool

I personally like the humidor. It puts Coors Field back to the middle of the pack as far as HR's given up each year. In the past no lead was ever safe, and pitchers careers could be destroyed with one season in Denver. Just to show as an example, look at Todd Helton's stats in past few years.
Pre-Humidor
2000 .372 42 147
2001 .336 49 146
With-Humidor
2002 .329 30 109
2003 .358 33 117
2004 .347 32 96
2005 .320 20 79
2006 .293 11 47

It is obvious the difference that the humidor makes, but I think that it puts it back to where it should be. IMO
