Countdown to Practice

Try-outs start Monday for us in FL, practicing Thursday

Jan. 30th in SC.

We start the monday of Feb 15 which I think this year is the 13th in NC

Illinois is Feb. 27th as well

Tennessee-Monday, February 13th. We can teach pitching and throwing now, as well as condition and lift weights.

Oahu, Hawaii - Public school JV regular season just finished yesterday, playoffs about to start. Public school Varsity and private schools start in February.

Texas starts baseball practice on Friday, January 27th.

Kaizen.. So can a kid play both jv and varsity in your aloha state?

trojan-skipper, yes. Most of the sophomores play the JV season in the winter and then move up to the varsity squad in the spring. A few of the freshman do also and if they do not play in a regular season game, they are allowed to return to the JV team the following year.

wow. that's a great set-up for people who love baseball (coaches and players)...

In TN players can play both Var. and JV. In fact, our freshman and sophomores always play JV, regardless of their contributions to Varsity, to get the extra reps.

February 27th in Missouri. Weight training and once a week open gym until then.

Colorado season officially starts Feb 27. 3-4 days a week conditioning and arm strengthening until then.

Hey Kaizen, where in Hawaii are you or your child playing/coaching. My son is 6 in Pearl City, but thought I'd learn a thing or 2 from all the knowledge on this site. Maybe we can share some info.

12u travel in Michigan...we started 1x/wk in Nov, 2x/wk in January...indoors obviously!
