Today when I returned from our doubleheader I was surprised by finding a letter from a college coach. Inside, I found a questionnaire and I need a little bit of assistance filling it out please..

1) I'm given some codes for sports and such and then it asks # years in sport, # Varsity letters, and Hgt/Wgt (if applicable). Being at the beginning of my junior year, what should I put? This is my third year on Varsity baseball, and then I've been on Varsity basketball and football for a year each. I've played both of 3 years. Should I go ahead and assume I'll play in 12th grade? Also, in this same 'table' of stuff it asks for position, but it only includes two boxes and you're only supposed to put one letter in each. How do you do that? For baseball, I'm listed as a catcher/outfielder. For basketball, small forward. And for football I am a center and outside linebacker.

2) Academic Interest- If I'm not sure, should I put 'undecided' or should I put what I would like to go into at that particular school? My choice of major and such vary from school to school.

Thanks for the help.

If you have a letter from a college coach he is a one sport coach. Put the information on the questionaire that relates to that coaches sport. As for position, the first box is usually your primary position, and the second box is your secondary position. Most questionaires have areas to list other sports played. Listing "undecided" as your major is fine.

If there is room on the form I would list all sports I play. I would also list 3 years as Varsity, he will know that you are a JR and realizes that you will play a 4th year.

IMHO...don't over think with the questionaire the coach isn't going to recruit you or not recruit you based on the form.

Best of Luck.
