Hello all,

I have a PIAA question on courtesy runners which I could not find an answer for in the 2016 rule book. Here's the scenerio... Our catcher was the first batter in the inning and got on base.  Our coach decided to put in a courtesy runner for him.  Then, we ended up batting around that same inning, and our catcher got on base again.  Can you courtesy run for the catcher/pitcher twice in the same inning? If so, I assume you use the same runner?  In this instance, we didn't, but wondering if you can?

Thanks,

Kris

You can CR again, and you do NOT need to use the same runner (as long as each is legal).
