Agree with all of the comments about the CPL in general. One of son's college teammates played in Wilson summer before last and enjoyed it. Son said it was a good place to play when his team (Florence) travelled there last summer.
There are exceptions, but overall quality of play in the CPL is along the lines of mid to low Southern Conference.

CPL Coastal Plains League. Just go to their website and you can get alot of information. Wilson is a great town in Eastern NC. Any team in the CPL is a good place to play imo.
Totally agree. I was very impressed by the talent in that league and the professionalism of how the ballclubs were run and players treated. As a league, about 1/3 of all their players are drafted each year. The only issue is the heat in the summertime. It is nice to play in the North but my son thoroughly enjoyed his two years in Columbia which is one of the hottest cities in the US in the summertime.
