My son ended up choosing another school but was recruited by Creighton. I really liked the coaches, thought it would have been a great school to go play and get an education. Their pitching coach, Rob Smith, is very open and very willing to answer questions. He was very helpful. We met him at Junior Day when he was at Purdue. Good luck.
take a long look at this school-maybe not the baseball team you hear about the most at the collegiate level however, baseball program there is absolute tops! Bob Gibson played ball there if you didnt know. play a good schedule with some competitive teams on their schedule (oklahoma, evansville, witchita state, k-state,nebraska, winthrop, and others this yr)
One of our top guys, Tyson Kimm, Bruce's son, played at Creighton back when Jim Hendry (GM of the Cubs) coached there. He still stays close to the program.

Good coaches, good academics, good conference, playing facilities are Ok, They have a new indoor facility, Omaha is a great town and as 316sports mentioned Creighton is close to downtown, which is not the greatest part of Omaha, but is a great school and very safe around the campus.

Like anyone else in that conference, they recruit the very best players who qualify to attend. It is extremely competitive. They have produced a lot of draft picks including several who played in the Big Leagues.
