Hi, I am a sophmore catcher from Connnecticut and am somewhat new to the entire showcase situation. So far, I have been invited to the college select showcase in Norwich Ct, the IST showcase also in CT, and also the blule-grey classic at William and Mary college in Virginia. I have heard that the college select showcase is well run and think I will go to that, but I am curious if the blue-grey classic is worth the travel, even though I have also heard that is very well run. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about any of these events or any other oppurtunities to get noticed in CT. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help

My best advice to you would be to do a Perfect Game showcase. From past experiences with Blue Grey, I have realized it isn't worth the money or the time for the trip. A friend of mine's son is an outstanding player usually bing the best or at least in the top 5 players at every blue grey showcase and never got a call or anything. He didn't have any negatives like bad attitudes or anything, it was just a bad bunch of showcases. So my recommendation would be a perfect game showcase and or one of the best runned and best starting out showcases would be to attend Coach Nick Boothe's Virginia Weslyan Fall Showcase Camp.
