Too Bad they have the same pitching coach.
Wood is the closer? How does anyone know he can do that? Has he ever done it before? Can his arm hold up throwing hard day after day? You should really wait and see on that one. I also don't see how Pinella is going to make the staff better pitchers.
no wood is not the closer. fastballdad must not have read that the cubs will use him in the bullpen where they can..most likey as a set-up guy. we'll see what happens with the cubs pitching. i dont know that they can do much worse than last year, but i know i'm hoping they do good.
Not that any of it matters, because they're still going to fold to us boys down in STL. (but with all Cub hatred aside) They are an improved staff all around.
