Just saw this. Phoenix Coyotes have also tried it. If it works, I wonder is it the beginning of a new trend in sports business?

Great, now the government will take over the Cubs too. Will the title of Cubs manager require Senate confirmation? Will Obama "vet" prospective candidates? Will Congress enact a new "Cubs Tax" to help boost the payroll, adding pennies to the cost of every freeze pop sold at a Little league ballpark? Will the the 6th inning song change from "God Bless America" to "Significant Celestial Being Bless America"?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Don't worry!! I am sure Obama will appoint a "baseball czar" to oversee the process of revitalizing the Cubs and making sure their product is "renewable". They may even get stimulus funds to pay for some new infield grass and replacing the blighted outfield walls to meet various modern building codes
