He is going to Illinois in the fall after playing at Parkland last year where he led the team in Home Runs and was second in doubles and RBI's while batting 385. He did not see many pitches the last 3 weeks of the season in high school and got hit by pitches more than his fair share his senior year. They even intentionally walked him one game with the bases loaded.

One advantage he had was the 2 kids hitting behind him in high school were batting around 400 with some power also so they had to pick their poison.
