Custom Batting Helmet

My son's best friend was injured in football. At the hospital, they discovered a lemon-sized cyst in his brain which was successfully removed last week. His football playing days are over but he would like to play his senior baseball season if possible. The doctor hasn't ruled it out but would like to see him take extra precautions if he does play.

Does anyone know of a place that designs and sells custom batting helmets that might provide some additional protection over a conventional helmet?

I don't know of any "custom" helmets, but Rawlings now sells a beefed up batting helmet. S100 or something like that..
