Cut from USC and gets drafted!

Yeah you never do. Hope he does well.

I don't know anything about the player but looking at his stats with the foresters he looks to be a pitcher with good stuff and some control issues.

I can see where a college team might not be willing to invest another season in a pitcher like that while because of the potential upside he's a good bargain at that point in the draft for a pro team.

Ironically, Ben Rowen of VT was also cut from the USC baseball team as well and was drafted this year. He tried to walk on at USC. Ben is an intereting study in how to adapt, as he only throws about 80 max.....subermarine....
