Very cute idea... but my favorite of all time is one my son made for me that looks like this:

Baseball seam bracelet

He's made me a new one for the past three seasons, each time out of a special ball. He's definitely not the crafty type, but he and some teammates started fooling around making these during a long, rainy tournament weekend. They were hanging out in the lobby with some of the other teams and learned how to make them. You can make two bracelets from each ball. He and his second baseman (son was the shortstop) wore bracelets made from the same ball all last season. (They wear them around their ankles though - otherwise they'd have to come off at game time.) I wear them until they literally fall off!

oh, and p.s.... the ones the boys make are just tied together with the long end of the stitches... no velcro.
