SBK...Easy to lose 20 in the SEC.

Not a weak sister in the bunch.

Never forget the Saturday doubleheader that I went to see being played at Mississippi State in 1991. Florida vs. MSU...About 14000 fans in the stands and 4 #1 draft choices pitching....BJWallace and Jay Powell for the Bulldogs; and, Marc Valdes and John Burke and for the Gators....

Left field lounge....best fans in America.

You had to be there!
I came home early and sat down about the time the first pitch was thrown around 2:05. I watched every single pitch , play , at bat it was awesome. I dont know if I have ever seen a more clutch performance by one player in a bigger game in my life. Larish goes yard oppo. Larish goes yard by jerking a fb. Larish goes yard to straight away cf. Both teams kept fighting and finding ways to try and win. No one deserved to loose that game. Matter of fact no one lost that game. Nebraska just ran out of innings. My hats off to both teams for treating us to in my opinion one of the greatest baseball games the college game has ever had on that stage. I didnt get to see the Baylor Tulane game. My son had practice at an indoor facility hitting and bull pens. I walked to the lobby and saw Tulane up 6-0 kind of early and figured it was over. Only to get home and find out that Baylor won. Wow what a CWS so far.
Agree totally with the WOW comments above. Yogie has got to be loving it after the Baylor game. I fell asleep because I thought it was over - ya right!!!!

With respect to ASU, they are one of the teams I have been following along with Oregon State who is now out. ASU has frightening offensive capabilities and several players who can beat you all by themselves. I have never seen a player who stands at the plate waiting for the ball quite like Larish. It almost appears he is looking for the ball with his back eye and thus appears to have his head turned more toward the pitcher than most players. Anyone else notice this?

Obviously, Florida and Texas are the favorites right now but I wouldn't rule anyone out at this point.
MT07LHP,

I certainly think it is a vision thing but not necessarily a "weak" right eye. His left eye just may be his dominant eye thus he turns his head that way to take advantage of this fact. Don't think I have ever seen another player hit like this however. It certainly works for him Smile

Also, agree that college baseball is starting to become like march madness with me and hopefully now with the rest of the nation.

Little Miss Bullwinkle and I just got back, and yes we stopped off at Yale, we had the tour and loved the campus. We also stopped at UConn which is more country than city (Donny and Marie just popped in my head) anyways, the tour was fun and the showcase was well run.

I'll let you all know if anything comes up.
