I love Lincecum despite his recent transgression. But I think Wainwright deserved it this year, and would have won it had he not been on the same team with Carpenter. It's just hard when two teammates split up votes. You could argue that Lincecum, in a way, finished third, in that head to head he probably would've lost out to either of Wainright or Carpenter.
