VMI has moved its opener back until Saturday. Not sure about the rest.
Son says overcast in Athens, but no rain yet. We'll see. Doesn't look great on Weather.com...
CSU moved opener to Sat as well. It looks like rain on Sat so who knows.
I do know that the Bassmaster Classic in South Carolina got off on time this morning as seen on Mike and Mike at 6 AM on ESPN2 even with cold weather and sleet and rain---at 9:30 Am the leader had some 15 lbs in the boat
Richmond VS Unc Wilmington is turning into an offensive show. Not much pitching right. The last time I checked, Richmond was up 13-10.
Liberty is starting to lay the wood (err metal) on Notre Dame in Florida. 6-1 in the 6th and they are still up to bat.
Virginia Tech's season opener vs Pittsburg (at the Coastal tournament)was pushed back to Saturday as well.
Longwood picked up the win in their season opener in Farmville Friday 9-7 over Le Moyne. For those not familiar with Le Moyne, they are out of NY and have advanced to the NCAA regional 3 of the last 5 years (including last season). Le Moyne is playing as a division I independent this year. Good win for the Lancers to start the season. Both are scheduled for a double header today in Farm-Vegas.
