D1 Roster Limits

I believe the only limit is on the travel roster. Otherwise it is unlimited. I know last weekend CSULB and USC had about 35 kids in uniform

Roster limits at the D1 level are kind of depending on the University!! There are travel roster limits but they have nothing to do with the size of the Team Roster!! I have seen a Roster size as large as 58 at the D1 level but on average I would say most range around 35-45. I kind of look at Arizona State University as a guide for a large roster size!! Although, Last year their roster size was 54 or so this year they are at 20 less, 34!! Must have caused alot of problems with a roster that large. If you do the math, you can find out how much playing time you would get with an over 50 roster!! At other divisions, I have seen rosters in the 60 to 70 range, at some of the NAIA schools that play in the NAIA world series like Lewis & Clark and Bellevue they seem to have larger roster sizes!! They soon cut them back and many players get frustrated because of the lack of exposer and then quit!! But to answer your question, I don't think that the NCAA has santioned any roster size for an entire team, I could be wrong, but I have never heard of it!!
