I bet this will spark some talk during a slow week..

2 questions.

A. what do you think about spending 51 million to talk to the guy, coulda got the 3 best arms in free agency for that

B. do you think Hicks offer of 27 million was just for show, IMO there was no feasible chance of him talking for that much

lets hear it..

it just sucks for everyone who isant a sox or yanks fan. im mean who didnt know one of those two franchises would win the rights!

hopefully the marlins can come along and win another world series with their payroll, attandance, and youth.

and yes the rangers are trying to improve they just have to spend their money wisely.

Which argument are you making? That Matsuzaka is a risk because he might be another Hidecki Irabu? Then the counter argument is that Matsuzaka may be as good as Suzuki or Matsui.

Your second post now suggests that Matsuzaka is a risk because this is too much money to invest in a pitcher. The sum paid in the post to Seibu would be better spent on position players.

So, which point are you making?
