Good things are happening with the Dbacks!

Curt Sanders will be coaching our 16U squad next Summer. He has worked with some of the best hitters in the area for the last 12+ years. His K9 Sports team that will play in the Matt Dozier Tournament in two weeks, will feature the most talented players in the area, period.

We will be fielding a 16U team along with 2 18U teams in 2009. Check out our website for more info and contact us with any questions about this new and exciting organization!

Curt Sanders is without a doubt one of the best hitting instructors in this area. When I coached on that side of town, that is who I'd recommend to my players. One of his top pupils is one of my former players, 2007 9th round pick of the White Sox, Kenny Gilbert of DeSoto.

If you have a 16U kid, are looking for a team, want some great coaching with a guy that has lots of contacts with college coaches as well, then Curt Sanders is your man. Oh, he won't shy away from the big tournaments or big teams either.

As far as the others coaches go, they are go-getters, with lots of playing experience, coaching experience and knowledge of the game. I have coached against all of them and they do a great job.

Congrats to you guys for doing something like this. Best of luck!
The Dallas D'backs are excited about having an 18U team in the Matt Dozier Tournament next weekend. They have put together a solid roster of area kids that should be able compete with any team in the tourney.

Games will be played SGPHS, GPHS, Apache Field, and Northwood University in Cedar Hill. Brackets will be out next week.

Come meet the coaches and see the team in action.

D'backs 16U coach, Curt Sanders is coaching his K9 Sports team again this year. They are no doubt the favorites to win the 18U division again.

The D'backs would like to thank everyone that came out today. We were very excited about the turnout at the tryouts and the interest that everyone has in our new organization.

We will be making contact with players over the next week, and hope to be getting commitments for all three rosters. The plan right now is to hold another tryout in January.

If you were not able to make it out today, please contact us to schedule a workout. If you have any questions, you can contact us at dallasdbacks@yahoo.com.
