Seeking 13U AAA/Majors level players to establish a new Dallas Mustangs team based in the Plano/Allen/McKinney/Wylie area. Keith Furnish, an established select level coach who has sent several players on to play in college and professionally, coaches the team. Scheduled play will typically occur every other weekend, as this team will rotate opponents in a unique four game head-to-head format against the top programs from the DFW metroplex as well as Houston, Austin, Waco and San Antonio. There will also be an end of season tournament in Central Florida. Practices will be held 2x/week during tournament weeks and 3/week during non-tournament weeks. The team will practice at the brand new Southfork Sports baseball facility (located one mile north of Southfork Ranch in Parker) that features an outside turf practice infield plus 10,000 square feet of indoor practice area. Public tryouts will be held at Southfork Sports on Sunday, November 2nd from 1-3PMand again on Saturday, November 8th, from 10AM to noon.
