Dallas Mustangs Tryouts

The Dallas Mustangs Baseball Club will be holding tryouts Sunday, August 26, at Hillcrest High School, beginning at 1:30 PM. These tryouts will be for ages 13 – 18 for this fall. In the event you are not able to make the tryout, you can call Sam Carpenter (214.707.3680) or Jack Sharp (214.534.1628) for individual tryouts.

Wow, does this mean Dbat Mustangs are no more? I heard rumors all summer that Sam was leaving. This is a major story. Why no press release from Dbat? What caused the split? I thought three years ago everyone said this is the greatest thing to happen to DFW baseball. What teams are Sam and Jack taking with them?

some organizations care more about character and integrity and doing the right thing

some care more about money

if people are on different pages everyday no need to stay together... big picture was dropped a few months after this merger and greed set in... some apparently weren't very happy...

i don't personally know anyone in either group, but know people who know people and everyone was basically saying the same thing....

so basically in dfw area Tigers, DBAT, Patriots do their own thing now?? Tigers well respected from what I get... maybe DBAT and Patriots can merge...
