Does anyone have any info on the Dave Gallagher Baseball academy? Just received an invite to a baseball showcase limited to 60 of the best players in NJ in July. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Dave Gallagher played 17 yrs pro ball, 9 in thr big leagues with stints w/ White Sox, Indians, Orioles, Angels, Mets, Braves and Phillies.
"Retired" in 1996.

One of his pupils - Steve Garrison (LHP/1b The Hun School 05) pitched well at the 2004 Bear Classic at the Univ of Maryland in Aug 04.
I thought the Terps could have pulled the trigger on Garrison early, as Garrison signed NLI w/ UNC in Nov 04 following a NC Showcase in Oct.

Gallagher has a inauagural Best in Class Showcase for NJ in Jul 2005. Call him in Millstone Township, NJ

Bear, UNC was Steve's first choice since a lot of his Dad's family lives close by. My son will be Steve's catcher this year. He can't wait!
