DBAT MUSTANGS ANNOUNCE FALL TRYOUTS

The DBAT Mustangs will have tryouts on August 22 and 23 at 6pm at the Ballfields at Craig Ranch 4plex in McKinney, TX.

This tryout is for 15-16U players who want to play Sunday league play and play some additional tournaments. For 17-18U, this is an opportunity to play league play, play in some showcase tournaments, and play at some local colleges.

Jose Salazar, former St. Louis Cardinal will coach our 15U's. Long time youth coach Rick Gustafson will coach our 16U's and current Mustang coach, Chris Patty will coach our 17-18U team.

The cost to play for the fall is $500 per kid.

The difference between the MSL and the DBAT Mustangs tryouts is/are the following:

The 16U and 18UMSL plays 3 hour games at the Craig Ranch 4plex for 5 weeks and has a paid college coach manning each field. He evaluates each kid and gives them a "grade" for each week of the program. At the end of the 5 week program, the player gets an average score so he sees where the coaches ranks him against others. Any player from any organization may participate.

The DBAT Mustang tryout is for those that want to play Sunday DH's and play in a tournament or 2. Game times may vary on Sunday.
