Son went in August this was our first showcase. It was predominatley run by DBU staff, there was an additional coach there from Northwood University. Overall I thought it was organized and run well. They did a combine and played games. Recruiting seminars there was about 60-70 kids.
I took my son to this camp this weekend past and just wanted to say that it was a wonderful experience. There were four DBU coaches there, two North Wood coaches, and some DBU players and in all the camps that I have witnessed with my son this was by far the best staff I have seen working with the kids. They were knowledgeable and really seemed to take a geniunue interest in the players. It was not like other camps we have been to where the coaches are just there to pick up a paycheck. I am sure money was a big reason for them being there but they really seemed to want to make the players better and were very interactive with them. I do not post often here, usually just read, but I wanted to make sure people knew about the experience my son had at DBU.
