All, can anyone comment on the Diamond Nation Super 17 Wood bat event with regards to the college scouting exposure? Does this event draw a lot of colleges? Three game guarantee with over 60 teams, but is this a good recruiting event? Thanks.

if you are part of known talented program I would expect between 15 and 25 per game.
There will be a lot of asst. coaches (recruiting coaches) there from all over, particularly the NE. When you arrive (and pay entrance fee) there is a huge board with what colleges are at facility at that particular time.
You should see a good amount of coaches there if you are onsite at the main fields at Diamond Nation. Depending on what team you're on you may only get one game on the main fields there - the better teams may get multiple games there. The number of coaches goes down as you get further offsite as you would expect - although if you happen to be or are playing one of the top teams you'll usually get some coaches at your games.
Schools tend to be Northeast schools at these northeast showcase tournaments (Diamond Nation, Baseball Heaven, etc). We hit those sites 6 times (I think) over 2016s final two summers and saw a lot of the same schools each time. The big board at the entrance will have all the schools listed as mentioned above.
Is it a good recruiting event? In 2015 when my 2016 played up we had 12-15 schools watching each game their top pitcher pitched at Diamond Nation. They go where the talent is (that kid could really pitch, so he drew a lot of coaches). Last summer my 2016 pitched there in front of a mix of small D1s and D3 coaches - the team last summer was not as good and they did not draw as many schools. However, the coach of the team we played was also the assistant of the school he eventually ended up at (was how he was spotted). And now that coach has been promoted to PC. Good lesson there - you never know who might be watching.
When we went, the board on the wall has 16 pro scouts and 110 colleges attending. If you go, be sure to send letters to any school you are interested in so that they know where to go to watch. Great tournament for exposure - make sure you stand for the National Anthem!
Thanks all for the feedback. That is much appreciated.
