Diamond Nation Wood Bat Invitational Sept 15/16

Has anyone done this in the past? It looks like a great line up of teams. Can we expect good college turnout at this?

It conflicts with an invitation for an OV and overnight for my son, at a university that is a very strong option for him.

He would rather play in a tournament of course.

Any input on how valuable this tourny is ?

We were very impressed with D Nation this summer.

I think an official visit invite is more important than a tournament. In theory, don't you play tournaments to get noticed, to get invites from coaches. Seems to me that your son accomplished one of the goals of recruiting.

I don't know the tournament, but if I'm a college coach, I'm likely to conclude a player isn't interested if he misses an OV and overnight to play in a tournament. So to me the question is how much interest does your son have in the school? I know that can be a tough call when you are trying to maximize options.

A nice problem to have!
