John Daly, the subject of the post, recently graduated Florida Coastal School of Law. As President of the Student Bar Association, he delivered the student remarks at the commencement ceremony. He will begin his law career at Roselli & Associates of Fort Lauderdale on August 6, 2012. His love of baseball has not waned. He played in an adult wood bat league in Jacksonville while attending law school, and also was the key player on the Florida Coastal Law softball team that won multiple championships during his three years at the school.
Congrats to your son JD.

I wasn't around for the original posts, but I enjoyed reading through them.

We're Broward locals (Miramar), so the names and schools are familiar.

My son is heading into his 14U season, and HS is a year away still. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he is fortunate enough to make the team when his chance comes.

He has been taking pitching lessons from former Stranahan (and Pittsburgh Pirate) pitcher John Hope at Floyd Hull stadium. The old place is actually looking really nice these days.

If things work out, maybe I'll be fortunate enough to be able to write a similar diary one day.
