dibble?

I mentioned Dibble's absense in a post a few days ago. Dibble used to post some good information and some funny (if not sometimes off the wall) stuff. Wouldn't blame him if he didn't come around any more - there was a pretty good love/hate relationship going on between him and a poster or two.....

Some of my favorite exchanges:

I have met Andy several times. Son has gone to one of his "showcases". Would not ever go again. I think Andy (Dibble) loves the game and is doing the best he can. I also know some parents that say he has helped out their son. I miss reading his absurd comments and his links though. Dibble where are you.

Itsagreatgame, you are right. If I had caught the **** that he has, I would have stopped posting a long time ago. Some of TRs comments were just plain mean spirited to Andy.

Redbird....where were you on the night in question? Did you have anything to do with the dissapearance of on Andy M**, AKA Dibble?

The real truth? Well....from what I've observed.....Dibble got treated very badly....too bad he wasn't going for a world batting record.....instead of just trying to post fun stuff.....he might have gotten better treatment and still been around.....and ain't that the truth.....

I think I will go with TR on this one.

Think it's great to have "inside" info that can justify the poor treatment Dibble has received on this board.....but also think....that for most of us posters....we can only go by what we read.....and TR and Been have made it perfectly clear in other threads....a man is innocent....until a signed confession to his wrong doings is broadcast on all major networks...and published in newspapers with a circulation of over 100,000......and this site too....of course....

....and I have not seen Dibble's yet....

....or did we lower the bar in Dibble's case?

In many situations I cannot share the inside information or behind the scenes activity related to member's deleted posts and other inappropriate behavior. You are going to have to trust me on this one, that I believe several Old Timers' concerns in this situation were legitimate. That's all I can say.
