Greg Maddux picked up his 18th Gold Glove and was announced by his agent the other day that he is set to retire.
Any bets he doesn't really retire? Will we be seeing the former pitcher become a coach, analyst, possibly a manager?

I don't think that he has the ego to be like Roger.
I think he has more class, he knows when it's time to walk away as a winner. I would be surprised if he did otherwise.

Yes, I did. But, I'm glad it disappeared.

I'd love to see him write a book on pitching...especially the mental aspects.
My husband and son are Braves fans. And I loved the braves when Greg played for them at the time they had Greg, Glavine and smoltz. I think all three are great pitchers but Greg definate hall of famer.To me he is one of the best there ever has been Just the way he studied his batters, I think he could write an excellent book.
