After son entered college we didn't feel the need to spend $$$ on baseball equipment or anything baseball. My son has a habit of buying baseball hats (he seldom wears his team hat off the field since he spends so much time in it, and needs the change of "color").
So he treated himself to a variety of different teams. They need to be color coordintated with his various outfits.
However, son got a really neat gift. A tie with all the different grips for pitchers.
This was sent to him from his summer baseball family.
I told him the greatest gift from them was a great summer and a friendship that will last for years to come. And great memories!
Sometimes it is not the material things in baseball that make great presents!
