As ClevelandDad has posted, some of the best games in 2008 were at the DIII level, including the final game between Trinity College and JHU.

'You don't have to be a great player to play in the major leagues, you've got to be a good one every day.'

Good find, CD. Thanks for posting.

Huge congrats and best wishes to hokieson.

A former teammate and friend's son plays for Trinity. My son's travel coach's son plays for Johns Hopkins. The couple of times I mentioned last years championship the coach growled, "We struck that GD kid out twice before he walked." Both teams are still in the running this year. Trinity is sitting in the driver's seat waiting for their regional championship game. What a two year run. 45-1 last year and 32-5 so far this year.
Here are the final eight:

First-round matchups for the championship round (all times Central):
Game 1, 10:00 a.m.: Carthage vs. Wooster
Game 2, 1:15 p.m.: Kean vs. Trinity (Conn.)
Game 3, 4:30 p.m.: Shenandoah vs. Farmingdale State
Game 4, 7:45 p.m.: Chapman vs. St. Thomas

There will be live video of the entire championships from Wisconsin. Check at D3baseball.com for links and more details.
