Does anyone have an opinion on some good DII or NAIA programs in the Western part of the country? I don't know too much about these schools. I do know that Lewis & Clark College in Lewiston, Idaho has a good program. Anyone else?
Sonoma State near Santa Rosa and Chico State are 2 of the premier DII programs in the nation--one or the other usually contends for the DII world series. UC San Diego is also DII. Beautiful campus, very high academics and admissions, good coaching staff but to date not turning out consistently high quality teams.
Agree with infielddad on UCSD. Cal Poly Pomona also has D2 program. I think Cal State LA is also D2 as are several of the other state colleges. I think San Francisco State is another.
there's a link from this site to John Skilton baseball links. It lists all the D2 schools. Actually it lists all divisions.
Lewis and Clark State is the NAIA school in Idaho. Lewis and Clark College is a DIII school that is in the Portland area. A good DII team is Western Oregon. They are good, but Monmouth is a boring, small town 30 minutes north of Corvallis.
I believe the one is Idaho is Lewis Clark, no AND.

Thanks to everyone for the information. I will also check out the list of DII's on the link HeyBatter pointed out. If anyone has anymore information, please post it. I appreciate it all.
