Any predictions on how they will stack up? I see Flower Mound and Plano at the top. Not sure about the rest.

I think you are underestimating PESH. When the music stops I believe it will look like this:

1) Flower Mound
2) Plano East
3) Plano
4) Lewisville

Hebron could sneak in for the 4th spot but I don't think so. Plano West, Allen, and Marcus are too short on pitching to get it done this year. These are just my predictions -- would love to see some debate from people with a dog in the hunt!

I know Hebron beat Flower Mound, 4-1 tonight and Plano beat Allen, 5-1.

Just reporting scores... keeping my opinions to myself.

Plano East defeated FM Marcus 8-6.

I know L'ville started 4 soph's but PW looked very young.
Didn't see the outcome of Hebron/FM the way it came out......bats must have just been cold FM's way.

You are correct LF. West is very young and short on arms. Coach runs a solid program but they don't have the horses this year. FM had a tough night at the plate VS Hebron but Hebron is gaining momentum. I watched them play Saturday against a very good Wakeland team and they would have won were it not for a defensive melt down late in the game.

I'll hold to my predictions and when May rolls around I will be the first to congradulate the playoff bound teams. Certainly, not trying to stir the pot -- just giving my thoughts based on games I have watched and coaches/players I've spoken with. Good luck tonight!

You can always count on an exciting game when Marcus and Flower Mound play each other, but last nights game was the best game I have seen in 10 years between the two teams! It's never over till it's over!

Impressive that all 4 games were decided by 1 run last night.

Do the predictions for 8-5A change if FM loses its hearing on the elibility issue? Could be a difference maker.

Depends who is ineligible. I'm not familiar with the situation.

One player would not change my opinion. Plenty of depth on FM.

Regardless of the ruling for the player whom I do know, it will not effect the rest of the team. FM has a lot of depth and multiple players that move positions, so they won't miss a beat.

And to clarify, I'm not affiliated with FM, my son plays at a rival HS, in case that was in your mind.

Predictions would probably still be the same result.

DEC decided the kid can play. He will be in the line up on Friday. Good for the kid, his family and his team!!!

FD, I agree. Should add a spark to the lineup. It is a shame that he was not able to play in the first 3 district games. No way to get those back.
