CCAA is CA is very tough...At the very least gets ecodn shot at and harvests part of CA's large crop of players who are not at DI, and thsoe who come out of the CA JC system...Conference challenges every year for the national title...

Currently UCSD #5, SSU #10, CSLA #25, Also Chico is having a down year but has won the DII title 2 times in the last 10 years and finished second once. CSDH is 30-14, Stanislas is 30-20, and the conference is tough enough that they are middling in the standings.

I am also told that the Sunshine State Conference is very tough...but I have little info...other than they have #1, #11, #18,

Observer 44 is correct. The California conference is very strong.

We both live in the greatest areas in the World.

Send me an e-mail and I will forward to the Coaches at Sonoma State. They will have several camps this summer. This weekend they play at Palm Springs the Conference tournament.

Where did you live in Japan?

I lived in a few places. Southern Honshu and central Kyushu back in the 70's. I saw a little high school baseball over there. I never saw a Japanese pro game except on TV but I did see some American players who played in the league at the Fukuoka train station. The colorful Japanese uniforms have become common place here in the states now but back then they were pretty unique. At least that is what this old mind remembers it to be like.

Back to the original post. Anymore conference info. Thanks
