HOF pitcher Dizzy Dean, his brother Paul (Daffy) Dean and Shemp Howard of the Three Stooges in rare 1934 short feature. Excellent "catcher-cam" view of the Dean brothers pitching, about 17 minutes into the 25 minute long film.

Skip ahead about 5 minutes 30 seconds to get to the beginning of the actual short feature.

Just a sprinkling of good comedy bits especially for Cards or Stooges fans (one and the same this year?)

Shemp attacks ump thru his mask with the soon-to-be trademark stooge 2-finger eye poke.

Pitcher "Lefty Howard" is right handed.

Shemp batting says to ump: "Strike three? I demand a recount!"

Now-politically-incorrect stuttering Ump, Roscoe Ates, had a long career in Hollywood. He was a concert violinist who discovered that stuttering paid better than fiddling during the Depression. Very funny guy.
