Do the new metrics affect player value at the draft?

Examples:

-metrics say that steals are not all that valuable. Does that affect the value of speed?

-How about plate discipline at the amateur level?

-most recent trend is that the market for bat only sluggers crashed because position and defense are valued higher (and at the same time the value of ok bat great glove corner OFs like eaton or heyward surged). Basically war says that billy hamilton with his replacement level hitting produces as much value as David ortiz 900 plus OPS at DH.

Still of course traditional metrics count. raw  Power is now called exit velo but basically it is the same thing and arm strength and 60 speed are still measured but I wonder how the modern metrics affect the valuation of player types.
