Do we really need Quotes?

I was thinking the same thing last night, swingdoc -- not to mention the fact that it takes longer to scroll through a topic. Hmmm, I wonder if we can suspend the quote function!

OP can't type without using em. Our fault for blasting him when he first joined the dogpile. He passed it on to Lil OP as well. YIKES

To quote or not to quote, that is the question.

At school I encourage quotes in order to discourage plagiarism.

That's not a problem on this forum because there are limited profound statements. I'm kidding!!!!!

I think the problem is not quoting, but the misuse of the quote. It should be used for emphasis, yet tactical enough to provoke thought.

That's mid-season form and it's still August. I wrote a term paper on Spanish History using that same style at SAM. I've been known to sling a little in my day. See there folks, no quotes and everyone understood the post...

Actually OPson missed me by a year but one of our seniors last year kept telling him to get the retired Coach to give him a quote to live by. That senior got the Will Rogers classic when he was an 8th grader in my camp. Will said "I never heard of a man listening himself out of a job" OPson is still waiting on his personal quote. I'm waiting till one fits him like a glove.

Idk about those in class good student thing for OPson. The grades are not his forte. He makes good enough though and makes up for it on the field.

I dnt have a son ML's age. He's 7. Word gets around in Rockwall a lot faster than you think. Plus I have a few sources to go by. OPson, if you think about it was wasn't good math b/c he was wrong....keep on a firing baby!

Learn how to spell the word BELIEVE and I will talk to you. Why would I have anything to hide about who I am, this is a baseball web to the public. I could care less.
