Race is an issue no matter where you are or where you look. Depending on how you have been effected by whom will determine your feeling.
I am sure if a Sherpas throws 90 mph, mlb scouts will be out to see him.

Baseball is one of the purest sports if for no other reason than statistics make it accountable.
If you can hit, they want you. If you can pitch, they need you, it doesn't matter if you are green.

HMM Not sure how Marvin the Martian would look in pinstripes 
The three scouts my son has had the occasion to speak with at length -- ironcially, one black, one white and one Hispanic -- have seemed like qualify people and were more interested in numbers than colors. He and I wished he'd had the numbers they were looking for.
